Writing to Mend, Mending to Write

Join us at Cultivate Art Commons for Writing to Mend, Mending to Write: A Creative Writing Workshop with Alanna Veitch!

This workshop is an opportunity to tend to wounds, cracks, or adhesions, and to write as a method for mending, repairing, and/or building community. Rather than cure—that fantastical promise which leaves no space for lifelong disablement, past wounds, or reconfigured selves—this workshop aims to generate a multi-textual and practical mending praxis of care and world-making.

This workshop is hosted in conjunction with our Annual Juried Exhibition: Mending Ways.
