Tempests and Tenderness

The Kingston Baroque Consort begins its sixth season of music from the Baroque era on Friday 2 October, 5:15pm-6pm, at St James Church (10 Union St, Kingston).

The program, “Tempests and Tenderness – music both wild and gentle”, will feature music by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Marin Marais, Johan Helmich Roman, and Francesco Geminiani’s famous Concerto grosso “La Folia”, a virtuosic tour de force for strings.
