To Labour, with Love Community Film Screening Event

Join us on August 27th, 2026 at the Broom Factory in Kingston for an evening celebrating community, creativity, and womanhood. Experience the powerful film To Labour, with Love, followed by an intimate Q&A with Director Kaycee Leigh and participants from the film.
Be moved by performances from singer/songwriter Mellow Lily and The Kingston School of Dance duo Winnie Seaby & Pippa Seaby. Connect with community members over provided refreshments. We’re creating space for authentic conversations around birth, a fundamental human experience that deserves to be examined and celebrated as well as fostering connections in the local community.

Win door prizes and bid on silent auction items throughout the evening, featuring contributions from local businesses including Cher Mere, Improbable Escapes, Delta Hotels, and additional community partners.

All ages welcome. NOTE: The film thoughtfully explores childbirth with authentic depictions (no nudity). Free parking available on site and nearby streets.
